Cellulite Fix

What Is Cellulite?

Cellulite develops when a layer of fat begins to protrude into layers of connective tissue under the skin. It’s most commonly seen on the glutes, abdomen, or thighs and creates a dimpled or uneven appearance on the skin.

Both men and women can develop cellulite, however women are much more prone. In fact, research shows anywhere between 85% – 98% of women develop it in their life. Although very common, it’s one of the primary causes of insecurity among those who enter LoHi Lipo Laser.

What Causes Cellulite?

There are three primary causes of cellulite:

  1. Break down of the collagen layer between the skin and subcutaneous fat – Women are more likely to develop cellulite than men because the dense layer of collagen that connects the skin to connective tissue underneath runs perpendicular in women, as opposed to diagonally in men. This creates a greater likelihood of fat to push through the connective tissue when fibers begin to degrade over time.
  2. Fascial adhesions – Our fascia is composed of connective tissue, providing a flexible structure between our muscles and skin. However, when our muscles become tight or injured, circulation is diminished. This causes our fascia to lose its elasticity, enabling fat to protrude through our connective tissue to bulge beneath the skin.
  3. Lymph blockage – Our lymphatic system exists to remove toxins, waste and foreign matter from our cells and tissues by flushing it from our bodies. Lymphatic drainage is activated by exercise, light therapyinfrared sauna use, massage and z-wave treatments. However, our lymph can become congested over time due to a combination of sedentary lifestyle, unhealthy eating habits, and stress. This causes toxins to build up in the body and our fat cells to swell over time, thus resulting in cellulite.

Introducing Lohi Lipo's Cellulite Fix

Cellulite is a complicated issue, and it’s equally challenging to manage on your own. That’s why our team at LoHi Lipo Laser utilizes a combination of therapies to treat cellulite, regardless of the cause. In addition to our dietary and detox protocol, LoHi Lipo’s treatment protocol involves the use of two newly developed devices with state of the art technology: Tempsure and Z-Wave.

About TempSure

Tempsure is a FDA approved device for non-invasive skin tightening and cellulite treatment. It utilizes high frequency RF at low temperatures to stimulate collagen regeneration by heating the skin, thereby reducing the appearance of wrinkles and cellulite. Tempsure is non-invasive and safe for all skin types.  Treatments generally last between 30-60 minutes, depending on the total area being treated. There is no downtime, and results can start to be seen immediately. However, the full treatment effect takes approximately 12 weeks to allow collagen proper time to rebuild.

About Z-Wave

Z-Wave offers non-invasive cellulite treatment by utilizing electromagnetic technology. This transmits sound waves to break up fascial adhesions, increase blood circulation and stimulate lymphatic drainage in targeted tissue. Z-Wave is FDA approved for non-invasive treatment of cellulite. It has also shown to benefit those with musculoskeletal pain and improve healing time from a variety of sports injuries.

LoHi Lipo Laser has carefully developed a treatment protocol including BOTH Tempsure and Z-Wave, and the results are unparalleled. In fact, clients typically experience a drop in one full grade in cellulite.
